I have so much to say about my time playing ANNABELLA SCHMIDT and MARGARET in the play "THE 39 STEPS" with the The Alpha Players. These roles were the absolute best. The accents were a delightful challenge, and I loved the craziness that came with so much improv.
Annabella was "ball-busting", and powerful, while still maintaining elegance. On the other hand, Margaret, was sweet and shy, but so full of love and dared to dream for something better.
This is probably my favorite play that I have been a part of thus far, and playing more than one character just doubled the fun. The cast was spectacular and crazy in the best way, I couldn't imagine doing the show without them. I sincerely hope this isn't goodbye to these characters and that I can pick up this script again. This was a spy story I won't soon forget...:)
