Kinky Boots…wow I can’t believe I actually got to do this show. I had some technical problems uploading pictures but I finally got them here. I loved this cast and crew so much. You have no idea what this show meant to me. I didn’t know I needed this until it happened.
I can’t thank Taylor Gruenloh enough for letting me be a part of this outstanding production. He had a vision and I was happy to be a part of the dream. “Lauren” is a goofball but Taylor allowed me to ground her and make her, relatable, real, and still keep the humor. I hope I get to work with you again Mr. Keanu Reeves. thanks for letting me annoy you… lol and thank you to The Tesseract Theatre Company for making this show happen.
This show truly touched my soul…hehe get it…soul…like sole of a shoe Anyway I was so blessed because my schedule should probably not have allowed me to do it but they made it work and SOMEHOW I got to do this dream role. This show reminded me what a wholesome production looks like. I told the cast over and over again how much I appreciated them. This cast was just THERE for each other and I’d die to work with t them again. I got to finally work with old friends and made so many new ones. This show will always be a favorite in my mind and heart. Thank you to everyone who came. I tried to get pics with everyone but I’m sure there are people I missed. Just please know how much it meant to me to see you in the crowd. I had people come multiple times, (Alex Vito Fuegner and Kay Esswein) I had people drive from 8 plus HOURS away (Christian Erben Laini Beth Devin) I had people move their schedules around to come see me (Sadie Friedrich and Victoria Colletta) and many many more…
Tori Ray thank you for being my rock through this show. My insecurities are a lot and this girl was always there to bring back my confidence with a laugh and a good cry. She took notes, got me recordings, she is my HERO.
I’m gonna miss you Lauren…I hope we meet again. Until then thanks again to the amazing Kelvin Vasquez for being the best Charlie to my outrageous self. Thank you for the stunning photos Florence Flick, I’ll treasure them forever.
